Camping in remote Himalayan regions is just the right way to relax in the midst of nature. You can enjoy the luxurious beauty and charm of the mountain lands.

Day 1: Shimla - Kalpa
From Shimla (1,920m) take a drive through the breathtaking gorges of the Greater Himalayas to reach Kalpa (2,900m/290-km). In front of Kalpa the impressive Kinner Kailash (6,050m) looms large. This mountain changes hues with weather charges during a day. Stay overnight at Timberline Trekking camp in Kalpa.

Day 2: Recong Peo - Kalpa
Take a drive to Recong Peo (2,290m/13-km) and the new Buddhist monastery which has been built to commemorate His Holiness Dalai Lama'’ Kalchakra sermon. Proceed to the ancient village of Pangi and drive back to Kalpa to take a short trek to village Rogi. Here you will be served lunch. After tea start trekking to the camp in Kalpa and walk to Chinni village. These villages acquaint you with lifestyle of the inhabitants. Return for an overnight stay at the camp

Day 3: Kalpa - Sangla Valley - Chitkul
The drive from Kalpa to Baspa valley is along Sangla valley, the most lovely valley of Himachal Pradesh characterized by wooded slopes as far as Chitkul (3,435m/80-km). Have an overnight stay at the trekking camp in Chitkul.

Day 4: Sangla Valley - Chitkul
Trek through the lush and pretty green meadows and reach the grazing fields of Nagasti which lies on the bank of River Baspa. After lunch on the riverbank return to the trekking camp in Chitkul for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Sarahan
Drive to the beautiful village of Sarahan (1,920m/122-km) surrounded by apple orchards and Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5,155m). This peak resembles a Shivling and is noted for the Bhimakali temple. Have an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 6: Shoja & Jalori Pass
Take a drive to Shoja via Jalori pass. Shoja, a small village lying at an altitude of over 8,000 ft is 108-km away. The road to Shoja winds through thick forests of alpine trees. You get the charm of untouched habitat which is home to several species of flora & fauna. When you arrive at Shoja you see landscape opening up into beautiful terraced fields followed by meadows of charming wild flowers. Explore the surroundings on bear trail, pheasant ridge or village trail. At the campsite have an overnight stay.

Day 7: Jalori Pass Trek
Trek along the road to Jalori pass (4-km/10,280 ft.) in the early morning and enjoy nature’s bounty. A Mahakali temple called Jalori Mata attracts pilgrims from distant villages. After having breakfast, trek to Raghupur fort ruins and enjoy packed lunch on arrival. As you cross over the ridge you will love the breathtaking views of the area. Return to Jalori Pass in the evening and have dinner. Have an overnight stay in the meadow tents near the pass.

Day 8: Sereolesar Lake
After breakfast trek through a thickly forested narrow path to reach Sereolesar Lake. You can have an occasional glimpse of the meadows that lie beyond the thick forests. The onward downhill trek is smooth. The alpine meadow dotted with the sheep of Gaddis is a photographer’s delight. The Sereolesar Lake has a temple of a deity called “Burinagin”, who as legend goes had 100 Snake sons. It is a revered lake. Trek back to the camp after lunch which is an uphill trek. Walk for a distance of 5 kilometers. Reach the place by the evening, settle for dinner and stay for a night at the camp.

Day 9: Tirthan Valley - Goshani - Larji
One hour drive to Goshani is through the beautiful valley of Tirthan. Goshaini, a small village located in Tirthan valley is along the banks of river Tirthan. It is the starting point for treks to Bachleo Pass and the Great Himalayan National Park. Apple, pear orchards and the hills add to the beauty and serenity of the village. The place is famous for its rich birdlife. Go fishing to one of the finest beats at Larji lying at a distance of 35 kilometers.

Day 10: Kullu - Delhi -Onward Destination
Depart to Delhi in the morning.
