Day 22: Kaziranga- Tejpur - Nameri National Park
By Road (82 Kms.)
Today you are driven to Tejpur in Assam, India. Check in at a hotel or a resort on arrival. Once you are relaxed the tour guide takes you on a jungle stroll on elephant back into the jungles of Nameri National Park.
Nameri National Park covers an area of 200 square kilometers and lies on the foothills of eastern Himalayas at a distance of about 35 kilometers from Tezpur, Assam, India. Covered with deciduous forests, Nameri became a wildlife sanctuary in September 1985.
The park is the second Tiger reserve of Assam and also includes the area of Naduar Forest Reserve. Nameri became a National Park in the year 1998.
A home to rare wild creatures Nameri is the best place to spot animals such as Tigers, elephants, Black bears, Leopards, Indian Bisons, Pangolins, Clouded Leopards, Indian wild dogs, deer, Civet Cats, Jackals, Capped Langurs et al.
Drive back to the hotel in Tejpur for an overnight stay.

Day 23: Nameri National Park
Enjoy a happening wildlife adventure into the jungles of Nameri. Drive back to Tezpur later in the evening.
