 Baghvan in Pench is the second lodge introduced by Taj Safaris for the nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Amidst the dense forest by a stunning stream, the lodge is found on the edge of the expansive 757 sq km Pench National Park.
Baghvan, Pench has derived its name from the royal Bengal tiger. The term ‘bagh’ means tiger and ‘van’ means garden. This luxurious and comfortable lodge is only about 5 minutes away from the forests, valleys and forests of Pench. Your attention will be drawn to its spacious suites that embody a rustic charm. The recreational and dining arrangements of the lodge are also well devised.
Accommodation
Baghvan, Pench offers you an excellent range of bungalow suites that boast of both rustic and modern feel. They look extremely elegant in their copper and light turquoise hues. The soothing light cream color on the cemented floors adds an extra level of charm to the entire ambiance of the guestrooms. Built with Jharokhas or wooden latticed windows, the suites look very attractive. They are air conditioned. The guestrooms flaunt spacious courtyards, covered sit-outs and outdoor shower facilities. Jungle platform or machan can also be found there.
The jungle platform or machan boasts of mosquito net. Ceiling fan and hookah have also been placed in the suites. During summers, traditional Khus screen are fitted in the suites. The screen is sprayed with water and scent so that soothing fragrant breeze enters the rooms.

Baghvan, Pench offers you extensive dining facilities and services. You can have breakfast in the privacy of your verandah. It is a delightful experience to have lunch on the covered deck located by the pool. If you are two members, you can go for a dinner on the deck or machan. You can venture out for souvenir shopping in the safari shop of the lodge. However for rest, the guest areas are best to consider.
