The long-snouted, fish-eating gharial crocodile and the 'mugger' crocodile can be seen along the Ramganga River shores. One can also locate the ghoral or goat antelopes on the rocky hillsides. The Langur and rhesus monkeys can be seen throughout the Jim Corbett national park

The park is home to more than 585 species of resident and migratory birds include crested serpent eagles, blossom headed parakeet and the red jungle fowl. Thirty-three species of reptiles, 7 species of amphibians, 7 species of fish and 37 species of dragonflies have been recorded.

Mammals: Tiger leopard, elephant, sambar, chital, hog deer, barking deer, wild boar, langur, Wild pig, rhesus monkey, sambar and jackal.
Birds: Peacock, partridge, jungle fowl, Kaleej Pheasant, vulture, crow, parakeet, laughing thrush, kingfisher, oriole, drongo, woodpecker, dove, duck, stork, teal, cormorant and seagull.
Reptile: Indian marsh crocodile, gharial, king cobra, cobra, common krait, Russels viper, python and monitor lizard.
Fish: Mahaseer, kalimuchi, kalabasu, chilwa and goonch.
