The Sasangir Wildlife Sanctuary is located in a hilly and forested area at a distance of 59 kilometers from Junagadh in Gujarat, India.

The forests of Sasangir are the last refuge of the endangered Asiatic Lion. There are more than 327 Asiatic Lions at the Sasangir National Park. Besides the lions the Sasangir National Park supports a wide variety of wildlife such as leopards, foxes, hyenas, foxes, wild boars, chinkara, gazelles, barking deer, chital, Asiatic wild ass, porcupine, black buck, spotted deer, chousinghas, monkeys, crocodiles, nilgai and other animals.

The common marsh crocodile is a common sight at the Crocodile breeding farm at the Sasangir National Park in Gujarat, India.
